A sustainable speech program
Build a program your team can sustain.
We work with your team to establish consistent workflows, use progress and service data, and identify practical changes that support students and clinicians.
Start with a priority such as more consistent progress monitoring, earlier follow-up on missed services, or clearer workload visibility. Together, we agree on the scope and what success looks like.
Explore how speech-language support fits your district’s early intervention approach, including MTSS or RTI, and how teams monitor response and identify when evaluation may be needed.
02Evaluation and eligibility
Work toward consistent processes that connect assessment findings, classroom needs, and educational impact. Eligibility decisions remain with the appropriate school team.
03Goals and treatment
Connect measurable goals and meaningful starting points to individualized therapy, engaging practice, and reliable service delivery.
04Progress and adjustment
Clarify what to measure, how to track it consistently, and when to review progress. Use the findings to decide whether to continue or adjust support.
05Transitions and continued success
Support team decisions about continuing, changing, or ending services based on student needs and evidence. When a student no longer needs specialized services, plan for continued success in the classroom.

A few common questions
Questions before we connect?
Can we work with Empat if we already have SLPs?
Yes. Your own clinicians can use the Empat Speech Platform, including in-person SLPs. We can also discuss a partnership around your team’s workflows and program priorities. Staffing is optional.
Can we start small?
Yes. A starting point could be one SLP, one school, a specific coverage need, or a workflow your team wants to improve. We’ll define the scope and success measures together.
How will this fit our current processes?
We start by understanding your team’s workflows and documentation requirements. Together, we identify where Empat can help and what adoption would involve. In a demo, we can walk through planning, documentation, service-minute tracking, and deadlines.
Does technology make clinical decisions?
Clinical decisions stay with qualified professionals and the appropriate school team. Technology helps organize information and draft documentation; SLPs review, edit, and approve reports.
What should we expect from the first conversation?
We’ll discuss your priorities, current staffing and workflows, and timing. For staffing, we’ll confirm location, licensure, and availability. For the platform or program support, we’ll identify a useful demonstration or focused starting point and discuss scope and pricing.
